Padeland coming soon

Downtown Chandler is about to welcome something truly unique. The former Look Dine-In Cinemas at 1 West Chandler Boulevard, left vacant after closing earlier this year, is being transformed into Padeland—Arizona’s first indoor padel and pickleball club with a brewery.

A New Chapter for a Landmark Location

The 35,000-square-foot building, located on the southwest corner of Arizona Avenue and Chandler Boulevard, once housed nine theaters along with a restaurant, bar, and brewery. Soon, that space will be buzzing again, this time with a mix of sports, socializing, and lifestyle amenities unlike anything else in the Valley.

Padeland is positioning itself as more than just a sports facility—it’s a full-scale social hub where people can move, connect, and relax. Highlights include:

• Four padel courts and five pickleball courts

The Vision Behind Padeland

Founded by Daniel Maldonado and Alejandro Serna, Padeland was created with the goal of offering something new to the Valley—a lifestyle environment that combines sport, wellness, and social connection. The founders describe it as a place built on “movement, wellness, and good vibes,” where people can feel part of a community whether they’re competing on the courts or enjoying a drink at the taproom.

When Will It Open?

Padeland is expected to open before the end of this year, bringing an entirely new concept to Downtown Chandler.
