Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill Coming to Gilbert, Bringing First Arizona Location
A popular California restaurant concept is making its way to Gilbert.
Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill is planning to open its first Arizona location at SanTan Village, taking over the former State 48 Tap House space.
The California-based restaurant is known for its menu of wood-fired barbecue, ribs, steaks, burgers, sandwiches, seafood and other American favorites, giving Gilbert another full-service dining option in one of the East Valley’s busiest shopping and entertainment areas.
Wood Ranch has built a strong following in California with a menu centered around barbecue and grilled meats, including its signature ribs and tri-tip, along with salads, sides, appetizers and comfort-food favorites.
The move into the former State 48 Tap House location also gives Wood Ranch a large, established restaurant space at SanTan Village as the brand prepares to enter the Arizona market for the first time.
The restaurant is currently targeting an early fall 2027 opening.
SanTan Village continues to see new restaurant activity, and the addition of Wood Ranch will bring another recognizable out-of-state concept to Gilbert.
