The Perch Pub & Brewery Breaks Ground in Downtown Queen Creek

Downtown Queen Creek is one step closer to welcoming a new destination. On September 3, 2025, The Perch Pub & Brewery officially broke ground, marking the beginning of a project that has been years in the making. With an anticipated opening in Fall 2026, this development is set to bring a major boost to Queen Creek’s growing Town Center.

A Landmark Project for Downtown

The Perch project will transform 3.8 acres in the Downtown Queen Creek Redevelopment Area into a lively hub for food, drinks, and community gathering. Plans call for a three-story, 16,000-square-foot brewery and restaurant, alongside up to 30,000 additional square feet for future restaurant and retail space. In total, the project could deliver as much as 46,000 square feet of new dining and retail opportunities.

Community Investment & Infrastructure

To help bring this vision to life, the Town of Queen Creek is investing in important infrastructure upgrades surrounding the site. These include:

  • Improvements to Munoz Street with new sidewalks, landscaping, lighting, and parking.

  • Enhancements to Duncan and Summers Place roadways.

  • Construction of a public utility water loop line.

In return, the developer—Lavenue 2 LLC—will provide property and easements at no cost, reinforcing the public-private partnership at the heart of this project.

In Line with the Town’s Vision

The Perch isn’t just another restaurant—it’s part of a larger vision for Queen Creek’s Downtown Core. The Town’s updated plan emphasizes:

  • Walkability and connectivity with pedestrian-friendly design.

  • Specialty retail and restaurants that give downtown a unique character.

  • Mixed-use energy, blending dining, retail, and community spaces.

  • Prohibited big-box and drive-thru developments, to keep the downtown experience intimate and authentic.

The Perch project perfectly aligns with this vision, promising a destination that feels both local and elevated.

What to Expect

As of April 2025, permits were secured, financing was finalized, and plans revealed exciting possibilities for the site beyond the brewery itself. Alongside the main two-story restaurant and brewery, additional spaces may include:

  • A steakhouse,

  • A speakeasy-style venue, and

  • Specialty retail shops that fit the boutique, pedestrian-oriented feel of the district.

With construction underway, Queen Creek residents can expect to see major progress over the coming months.
