Terrible’s Planned for Power Road and Warner Road
Another new business is planned for the East Valley, with Terrible’s expected to build a new location at the southwest corner of Power Road and Warner Road.
The well-known convenience store and fuel brand has a large presence in Nevada and has also been expanding into Arizona. The planned Power and Warner location appears to be part of a broader push by Terrible’s to establish more locations around the Phoenix metro area.
What Is Terrible’s?
Terrible’s is operated by Terrible Herbst, Inc. and is best known for its combination of convenience stores and fuel stations. The company also operates car washes and offers its Terrible’s+ rewards program, along with rotating in-store and fuel promotions.
For people who have spent time in Las Vegas or elsewhere in Nevada, the Terrible’s name is probably already familiar. The company has traditionally had a much larger footprint in Nevada, but Arizona is increasingly becoming part of its presence.
Terrible’s own promotions have included participating locations in both Nevada and Arizona, confirming the company already operates within the state.
More Growth Around Power and Warner
The intersection of Power Road and Warner Road continues to see new commercial activity as the surrounding East Valley population grows.
The addition of another convenience and fuel option would add to the businesses already serving the neighborhoods surrounding Power Road, including residents in Gilbert and southeast Mesa.
The planned Terrible’s will be located on the southwest corner of the intersection.
Terrible’s Expanding Its Arizona Presence
This location also comes as Terrible’s continues to build its presence outside its traditional Nevada market.
Terrible’s currently promotes convenience stores, fuel, rewards and car wash services across its brand. The company's car wash operation alone says it has more than 85 locations across its markets.
With additional Terrible’s projects beginning to appear around the Valley, East Valley residents may start seeing the brand much more frequently over the next several years.
For now, there has not been an announced opening date for the Power and Warner Terrible’s location.
We’ll continue following the project as it moves closer to construction and more information becomes available.
