A proposed Target shopping center may be coming to the southeast corner of Higley and Ocotillo Roads in Gilbert, and a neighborhood meeting has been scheduled to discuss it.

Request: Rezone the property (Maricopa County Parcel 304-69-027Z) from Shopping Center (SC) to General Commercial (GC) with a Planned Area Development (PAD) overlay.

Purpose: Allow for the development of a Target shopping center and other related commercial/retail uses.

Reduce the corner landscaping setback to allow a driveway at Higley & Ocotillo.

Allow driveways and parking to be closer to the property line on the south side.
