The Mick Brasserie & Bar coming to Higley and Ray

by KEVIN MCKIERNAN

A new upscale dining experience is headed to Gilbert as The Mick Brasserie & Bar prepares to open its second Arizona location at Modera Higley Commons near Higley & Ray. The modern French-inspired restaurant, currently located near Hayden and Shea in Scottsdale, will occupy a new 4,400 square foot space and is expected to become one of the centerpiece dining destinations of the mixed-use development.

Known for blending a stylish atmosphere with elevated comfort food, The Mick has quickly built a following in Scottsdale for its chef-driven menu, craft cocktails, and energetic dining experience. The Gilbert location will bring many of the restaurant’s signature dishes to the East Valley, giving residents another higher-end dining option in one of Gilbert’s fastest-growing commercial corridors.

The menu at the Scottsdale location features a wide range of modern French and contemporary American dishes including Hamachi Crudo, Steak Tartare, Shrimp Tartine, Duck Fat Roasted Potatoes, Burrata & Beets, Scottish Salmon, Filet Mignon, and handmade Cavatelli pasta. Guests can also expect an extensive wine selection along with a creative cocktail program that has become a major draw at the original location.

Modera Higley Commons continues to add notable restaurants and retail tenants, helping transform the Higley & Ray corridor into one of Gilbert’s newest dining and entertainment hubs. The addition of The Mick adds another unique concept to the area and gives Gilbert residents a modern French-inspired restaurant option without needing to drive to Scottsdale.
