Salt & Straw Is Coming to The Switchyard in Queen Creek
Queen Creek is getting a little sweeter! Salt & Straw has officially joined the growing lineup of tenants coming to The Switchyard, the major new mixed-use development taking shape in the heart of Queen Creek.
Known for its small-batch, chef-driven ice cream and creative flavor combinations, Salt & Straw has built a loyal following by offering much more than the traditional chocolate and vanilla scoop. Its shops feature classic favorites alongside rotating monthly menus filled with unexpected ingredients and limited-edition creations. The company also offers several dairy-free options.
Salt & Straw has already expanded across the Valley with Arizona locations at Agritopia in Gilbert, Novus Place in Tempe and Uptown Plaza in Phoenix. The upcoming Queen Creek location will continue the brand’s East Valley expansion and give local residents a new destination for ice cream without having to drive to Gilbert or Tempe.
A Sweet Addition to The Switchyard
Salt & Straw will be located at The Switchyard, a 10-acre mixed-use development near Ellsworth and Ocotillo roads in Downtown Queen Creek. The project is being designed as a walkable destination that combines restaurants, shopping, services, outdoor gathering spaces and residential living.
When completed, The Switchyard is expected to include approximately 54,000 square feet of restaurant, retail and office space, along with 206 multifamily residential units.
Salt & Straw joins an impressive group of previously announced tenants that includes:
-
Postino
-
Shake Shack
-
Snooze, an A.M. Eatery
-
Bamboo Sushi
-
ROOM and PORCH
-
Zara Nail Bar
-
Edward Jones
The combination of recognizable national brands, new-to-Arizona concepts and neighborhood-focused businesses is helping position The Switchyard as one of Queen Creek’s most anticipated developments.
