Popular Health Coach Opening Bad Honey Cookie Shop in Downtown Gilbert

Downtown Gilbert is getting a sweet new addition.

Bad Honey, a new cookie shop created by popular health coach Chandler Schroer, is coming to the former Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles building at 366 N. Gilbert Road.

The cookie concept is being launched in collaboration with Rosewood, the new restaurant preparing to open in the same building. Bad Honey will operate from a walk-up window located on the southwest side of the property, allowing visitors to grab cookies without entering the restaurant.

Schroer has built an Instagram following of more than 270,000 people by sharing high-protein, low-calorie desserts, healthier recipes and fitness-focused content.

Now, she is taking her passion for creative desserts beyond social media and bringing a new cookie concept to the heart of Downtown Gilbert.

Bad Honey and Rosewood Collaborate

Bad Honey will be connected to Rosewood, giving the historic Gilbert Road property two new concepts under one roof.

Rosewood is expected to bring a new restaurant experience to the building, while Bad Honey will offer a more casual dessert option through its dedicated exterior window.

The collaboration adds another unique food concept to Downtown Gilbert and gives visitors a new place to stop for dessert while exploring the Heritage District.

A Health Coach Opening a Cookie Shop

At first, a health coach opening a cookie shop may sound unexpected. However, Schroer’s social media platform has long focused on showing followers how desserts can be creative, satisfying and still fit into a balanced lifestyle.

Her content frequently features high-protein and lower-calorie versions of popular sweets, making Bad Honey a natural extension of the brand and community she has already created online.
