PopStroke Moving Forward in Gilbert

Gilbert’s entertainment scene is continuing to grow, and a new golf-based attraction is now moving forward near the SanTan Village area. PopStroke, a rapidly expanding golf entertainment concept, is planned for a site just south of the southeast corner of Ray Road and SanTan Village Parkway, positioned between Topgolf and Main Event.

Originally, the project was proposed as an indoor miniature golf facility, but updated plans have shifted the concept to a fully outdoor experience.

The new PopStroke location is planned on approximately 4.25 acres and will feature a 36-hole outdoor miniature golf course designed to provide an interactive and competitive putting experience for players of all ages. In addition to the golf courses, the project will include a variety of entertainment and dining options designed to create a full destination rather than just a traditional mini-golf venue.

Plans currently include:

• Two 18-hole putting courses (36 holes total)

• A full-service restaurant and bar

• A turf play area

• An outdoor playground

• A small ice cream parlor

• Outdoor gathering spaces for guests

The concept behind PopStroke blends golf, food, drinks, music, and technology into one social entertainment venue. Guests can play on professionally designed putting courses while ordering food and drinks, making it a popular destination for families, groups of friends, and corporate events.

The location is particularly strategic. The site sits in the growing SanTan Village entertainment corridor, already home to attractions such as Topgolf and Main Event, with additional commercial development underway nearby. PopStroke will add another activity-based venue to the area, further establishing it as one of the East Valley’s largest entertainment hubs.

PopStroke has been rapidly expanding across the country and continues to open new locations in major metro areas. The Gilbert project represents another step in that growth and will bring a new entertainment option to residents and visitors in the Southeast Valley.

While a construction timeline has not yet been announced, the project moving forward signals another exciting addition to Gilbert’s evolving SanTan Village area.
