Gilbert Butchery to open 2nd location on Queen Creek / Gilbert border
Big news for the Gilbert / Queen Creek border.
Gilbert Butchery is officially expanding with plans to open its second location at the northwest corner of Power Road and Chandler Heights Road — and the new shop will operate under the name Queen Creek Butchery.
And like we’ve posted in the past, Sal’s Pizza will also be joining the same new retail development just west within the center, bringing its second East Valley location to this growing corridor.
A Major Boost for the Corridor
The retail development is currently under construction and continues to add momentum to one of the busiest intersections serving both Gilbert and Queen Creek residents.
The project is being built by Overton Builders, a respected Arizona-based commercial builder known for delivering high-quality projects across the Valley.
Leasing for the center is being handled by Tom Wolf with the West USA Commercial Division, signaling strong confidence in both the location and tenant lineup.
With surrounding neighborhoods like Seville, Whitewing, and Freeman Farms continuing to grow, Power & Chandler Heights has quickly become a prime destination for neighborhood-serving retail and dining.
What to Expect
Queen Creek Butchery is expected to offer:
-
Premium hand-cut steaks
-
Fresh ground meats
-
House-made sausages and marinades
-
Curated grocery and specialty items
Meanwhile, Sal’s Pizza expanding into the development adds another strong local brand to the mix, giving residents more convenient dining options close to home.
This is exactly the type of growth we love to see — locally loved concepts expanding within the community instead of national chains taking every corner.
We’ll continue tracking construction and share updates as opening timelines are announced.
Power & Chandler Heights keeps heating up.
