Bojangles is Coming to Gilbert! First Arizona Location Announced

Big news for Southern food fans in Gilbert — Bojangles, the iconic North Carolina-based fried chicken and biscuit chain, is officially making its Arizona debut right here in town!

You heard it first: Bojangles has just purchased the property north of Chipotle on Val Vista Drive, just north of Germann Road. This exciting move marks the brand’s first location in the state, with many more to follow. In March 2024, Bojangles announced a multi-unit development agreement to bring 20 restaurants to the metro Phoenix area, and the Gilbert location is now leading the charge.

Known for their crispy fried chicken, fluffy buttermilk biscuits, and famous Bo-Berry Biscuits, Bojangles has built a loyal following across the Southeast — and soon, Gilbert residents will get a taste of what the buzz is all about.

The deal was made possible thanks to Brandon Vasquez of Diversified Partners, who helped secure the site and close the deal earlier today.

Stay tuned for updates on the buildout and grand opening — and get ready for a whole lot of Southern flavor coming to the East Valley!
