Best Pizza & Brew Coming to Chandler in Early 2026

Best Pizza & Brew, a beloved San Diego–based fast-casual pizzeria and taproom, is preparing to launch its first out-of-state location in Chandler, Arizona. Situated in the former Gadzooks Enchiladas & Soup building at 290 S Arizona Ave, Chandler, AZ 85225, the restaurant is targeting a January 2026 opening.

Fans of its scratch-made New York and Detroit-style pizzas, house-brewed beers (including blonde ale, IPA, and hazy IPA), and lively community vibe won’t have to wait much longer to experience it locally. The Chandler spot will replicate the signature energy of the California originals—with ice towers chilling dozens of rotating taps, numerous TVs, outdoor seating, and both dine-in and take-out options.

Signature menu items will include meatball parmesan, pesto chicken burrata, and honey basil pizzas, plus wings, loaded fries, salads, sandwiches, and sweet treats like butterscotch pudding and root beer floats. Managing partner Joey Freis says they’re thrilled to bring their handmade pies, craft beer selection, and social atmosphere to the community.

Another regional outlet also confirmed that a popular pizza-and-beer concept from San Diego is moving into the former Gadzooks Enchiladas & Soup building in downtown Chandler.
